Peonies are a Soirée favorite – our brides love them, too! A perfectly fluffy and sweet smelling bloom, what’s not to love? This week we’re kicking off a series called “What’s that Flower?” where you’ll see how we use some of our favorite blooms in a variety of different ways. Sometimes we find ourselves rattling off names of flowers only to find our client’s bewildered, so what better way than to roll it into a series so you, too will know what kind of flowers you like for your wedding or event!
We had a few weddings this past weekend and peonies played

With a hint of navy – in the linens and the bridesmaid’s dresses, our bride had a
simple but elegant palette of green and white with fluffy end-of-summer blooms.
Their ceremony took place on the lawn, with the ocean behind them offering them and their guests quite the view on this late summer day. The bride’s bouquet was full and fluffy with roses, hydrangea, lady’s mantle and hypericum berries that provided an effortless look against the beautiful Nantucket scenery.
Inside the reception the tables were dressed with Navy linens where our green and white floral designs popped off the table in their silver vessels (some lent to the bride by friends and family!)
With simple nautical touches in the table names and menus, Charlotte and Chris stayed classic and clean for their wedding design.
The couple and their guests danced the night away nibbling on one
