Nantucket Wedding in The Knot Boston

July is here and the phone is starting to ring with inquiries for 2012 weddings. For those of you just beginning the planning process, be sure to pick up the Fall 2011 Issue of The Knot Boston. Our couple Maggie and Jeff are a featured wedding in the magazine and it’s safe to say they had nautical chic in mind when they planned all the details. From a color palette of navy,white, and green to starfish on the ceremony programs. No detail was left to chance. What is even more amazing, is Maggie planned all those details with her bridesmaids (who I would love to hire, they were rockstars at the venue setup), her mom, and her soon-to-be Mother-in-law. They were a great team and it was such a treat to work with them all.

June Wedding Recap – Nantucket


Wow, what a month June was. To say it flew by is an understatement. I’ll be the first to say that we are WAY behind on blogging. Usually, the Monday after a busy weekend we are downloading photos, bugging professional photographers, typing away on the keyboard going on and on about the wonderful couple we worked with. I have no idea where time has gone – but we certainly didn’t have enough of it in June. So here is a recap of the bits and pieces of color and floral combinations, fun ideas, and designs we were happy enough to be a part of here on Nantucket.

We started June with a colorful and vibrant wedding. Turquoise and coral are sure to catch one’s eye. Lots of beautiful peonies at the wedding – all captured by the talented Clayton Austin.

Jen and Neil were married at The Wauwinet and the weather held out for their outdoor ceremony – lots of callas for this one. A sleek, modern, clean look. No clutter here.
