Throw Back Thursday – A Galley Beach Wedding with Brea McDonald Photography

We love our Throw Back Thursday weddings and this week we’re going back to 2009!

This elegant and modern wedding took place at St. Mary’s Church and the reception at

the venue of epic sunsets, the Galley Beach.

This green and white wedding is still relevant to our current brides who are looking for sleek designs with clean lines and a touch of whimsy (we love the boxwood orbs hanging in the tent!)

Placesetters, Inc. provided the lines and mixed tableware, Jodi’s Cakes provided the perfect treat for guest’s at the end of the night with her coral inspired cupcake display and Brea McDonald captured this lovely couple’s summer wedding.

We’ve teamed up with Nordstrom (one of our favorite stores) to bring some inspiration as you seek out a gift or two for your special someone. For her, we went the gilded route (what girl doesn’t like a little metallic in her life?) with some jewelry and just for good measure we added in a little salted caramel (our favorite!) For him, we kept it simple – easy jewelry, a date-night-ready tie and a turn table! Head on over to Polyvore to shop the board!

2015 Wedding Inspiration with Pantone’s Spring Color : Custard

We’re having so much fun with these Pantone inspirations – and according to our Pinterest boards, you are, too! This week we’re inspired by Custard – a gorgeous yellow that’s not too sunny, not too mustard-y and perfectly cheerful. We love mixing it with Strawberry Ice or even Lavender Herb for something a little unexpected and extra spring-y. Or if you’re looking to put a nautical twist on your palette, pair it with Classic Blue for the perfect Spring or Summer color combination.
