We love color and the flowers that bloom in the summer offer nothing but! Many of the flowers from this Nantucket wedding were sourced locally at the farm where it took place. We loved our bride’s enthusiasm for using a rainbow-like color palette and doing something a bit non-traditional. You might not know it from the photos, but it actually rained most of the day! However, as you can see, they embraced it – they even went so far as snipping off the end of her dress! The romance between our bride and groom was undeniable and their smiles were infectious amongst the guests, despite the weather. The table decor featured chartreuse green water glasses, colorful napkins and florals in mixed vases. A few of our favorites were zinnias and cosmos – perfect Nantucket summer florals in fun, bright hues. We love when a couple takes the Grey Lady’s weather in stride and makes the most of it, because after all, all that matters is that you’re marrying the one you love, right?
