Southern charm meets English garden – this wedding was flush with florals and color at the Westmoor Club. The ceremony took place at the First Congregational Church of Nantucket; guests were greeted with a floral covered arch in shades of blue, purple and green – only the start of the color for their wedding day florals. Inside the church, the aisle was lined with vases filled with garden roses and mini hydrangea, hung with ribbon leading up to the altar where two large gold urns filled with lush flowers in shades of blue, purple, peach and green were placed. Their reception at the Westmoor Club featured a flower wall that doubled as an escort display and a photo booth backdrop. Their escort “cards” were custom Nantucket laser engraved key fobs and calligraphed name tags. The sailcloth tent from Nantucket Tents was overflowing with lush florals and greenery. The floor plan included three different tablescapes and featured clematis, garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangea, sweet peas and hellebores. The farm tables rented from Placesetters, Inc. were dressed up with an ivory hemstitch runner and gilded sea fan chargers for the perfect dose of shine. Two large hanging floral installations hovered over the dancefloor and brought a sense of “English Garden” to the tent. It was enjoyed by all while our couple and their guests danced the night away.
