About The Day
Let’s just start with this was the ONLY sunny Saturday of September, and it was a gorgeous day for sure! This is our second wedding with this sweet family, so it was a lot of fun to catch up and help create all the pretty flower details. This bride was bold and we had fun with the color. Just look at those bridesmaid dresses – they say it all!!!
The ceremony backdrop was on the back lawn of the Nantucket Yacht Club. That big blue harbor in the background really set off the summery sunset colors of the chuppah. You can just see all the love and joy everyone had for these two.
The reception was filled with bright, late summer blooms layered everywhere. We used everything we could get our hands on. The dahlias were in their prime along with zinnias, cosmos, roses, and ornamental foliages. Candlelight filled the space, and guests danced the night away. So much love for these families and all the joy in the years ahead!
