Galley Beach – we don’t think anyone would argue with us that the it’s one of the best beach wedding venues on Nantucket.
This early summer wedding was soft-hued, elegant and oh-so-romantic. Sara stunned in her blush-toned tulle gown and Roy, her groom put a twist on the classic and wore a blue tuxedo with a black lapel.
Their ceremony took place on the beach with their closest family and friends, many traveling from Israel. The chuppah was adorned with sheer white fabric and accented by blush and white florals at the corners. Her bridesmaids looked lovely in a pale blue carrying their blush and white bouquets of peonies, ranunculus, garden roses and dusty miller.
During cocktail hour guests enjoyed the view, sipped on Moscow Mules and found their way to the escort table, where mermaid and whale bottle openers were displayed and waiting to assign them to their tables. Cocktail hour also featured a three-dimensional photo booth covered in garlands and hanging florals. Guests couldn’t get enough of this fun-floral installation.
The tented reception continued with ethereal details – sea glass plates displayed the folded napkins and menus, ivory linens, chiavari chairs and hints of silver mercury with the votive holders and vases. The floral designs were just as subtle and gorgeous as the bouquets – lush with garden roses, ranunculus, and of course, peonies. Abundant candlelight finished off the look, only adding to the romance.
