About The Day
Kelsey and Mark were married on a perfect September day. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful First Congregational Church (with their furry loved one in tow). We love when couples incorporate their fur babies. The iconic Nantucket church greeted guests with a lush arch outside and even more beauty inside. A petal toss to celebrate the newlyweds when they exited the church made for a special moment.
Guests were in for a real treat when they came off the shuttles to a stunning backdrop at the bride’s home. Cocktails around the pool followed by a seated dinner under a sperry sailcloth tent. A lush mix of white and greens with hints of blue flowers dotted the tables. Garlands, and lush compote centerpieces with more candlelight that one could imagine donned the tables. Floral hoops hung over the dance floor for guests to dance the night away. Every detail was thoughtfully planned with the help of their planner, Karina from Magnolia Affairs. No one wanted the night to end, and the guests continued the festivities the next day with brunch. A great time was had by all.
