Rachel and Kris’s Nantucket wedding was a culmination of Colorado, Nantucket and bohemian elements in a luxe setting and turned out to be such a unique event. The couple wanted to infuse hints of their home state of Colorado so we used birch logs for the ceremony, escort and table numbers. The bohemian elements were translated through the florals – Rachel’s bouquet was a lush mix of peach, burgundy, hot pink and purple with lots of whimsy and greenery. The tables featured a mix of natural and metal elements with lots of color and texture – especially the florals. Bringing in the Nantucket element was a fun one, the couple had custom temporary tattoos made for their wedding – a fun way to keep guests entertained throughout the night. Our sister company, Dawn Kelly Designs, created a custom tattoo booth complete with nautical signage for their “Squid Ink Tattoo Parlor”. For the reception, guests were greeted with a lit paper star tent entrance and petal ball lights in the ceiling.
