Amanda and Ian’s wedding day vision was inspired by a curious mix of elements and style,
one that they often described as “Game of Thrones meets Alice in Wonderland meets English Garden”.
Soiree Floral and sister company Dawn Kelly Designs handled the overall aesthetic and design of their wedding day, blending elements from their inspiration and designing an event that gave a nod to their inspirations. From custom slide-top wooden box welcome gifts tied with custom printed gold foil ribbon, a wax sealed map of Nantucket to menus and thank you cards.
Their design team also hand picked all of the linen, tabletop and furniture rentals with the couple to ensure that no detail was left out. Game of Thrones was the driving inspiration for their wedding day paper items, Alice in Wonderland was brought to life with the mismatched vintage china and flatware at their place settings, sourced from New England Country Rentals. The linens and florals finished off the trio with lush centerpieces in muted shades of white, blush and green and luxe, textural ivory linens from La Tavola.
Maggie Naylon Stewart, of Nantucket Island Events, brought together an excellent collection of vendors for this event;
Clayton Austin photographed their nuptials and captured every moment and detail,
Meg Simone Wedding Films put it all on film in the most perfect way, The Wauwinet and TOPPER’S restaurant staff,
impeccable as always, took care of guests during their wedding weekend experience.
