About The Day
You have to love a client who knows what they want and just go for it. From the chinoiserie vases at the rehearsal dinner with a light canopy overhead for a seaside setting, to the lush reception for the wedding. This family had a great vision and worked hand in hand with their planner to bring the weekend of festivities to life.
We started with a dinner under the stars at Great Harbor Yacht Club with an incredible outdoor lighting canopy installation by APAD_RI. One long table with a never ending display of summers best blue and white blooms contained in chinoiserie vases. It was a quintessential look.
The wedding took place at The Westmoor Club with the ceremony on the expansive lawn. A lush, hydrangea filled arch served as the backdrop for the ceremony with blue and white floral hedges setting off the aisle. The reception moved in to the tent on the upper lawn with an expansive head table chock full of blue and white flowers and layers of candlelight. We alternated tall and low arrangements for a varied look. Lush trees softened the inside of the tent, a custom bar to greet guests, and a really fun escort display the family dreamt up with their Planner Karina from Magnolia Affairs. It threatened to rain on us, but Mother Nature gave us clear skies for a beautiful evening to celebrate.
