About The Day
Soft ocean breezes, sparkling water views, and the dreamiest palette of white and blue—this wedding was the perfect blend of classic Nantucket style and laid-back luxury. From the moment we stepped into the tent, with sunlight pouring in and the gentle rustle of draped fabric, we knew this day was going to be something special.
The bride envisioned a floral look that felt refined yet relaxed—elegant, but never overdone. We leaned into that vision with arrangements that mirrored the surroundings: organic, graceful, and full of movement. Every detail felt fresh, coastal, and timeless.
The ceremony took place with panoramic views of the water, framed by a soft, garden-inspired chuppah that just might be one of our favorite designs to date. It was striking and full of summer blooms.
As we prepped and styled through the week, our team was buzzing with excitement. These kinds of weddings—where every detail feels connected to the setting—are what we live for. And when the chandeliers were lit, the linens were smoothed, and the glasses polished, the space transformed into something truly magical.
Weddings at The Wauwinet have a certain kind of energy—peaceful, joyful, and full of anticipation. Whether it’s hearing the band soundcheck or watching the tide come in as we finish up the tables, there’s a sense that these moments will become cherished memories for years to come.
