About The Day
This family had a lot of fun planning for the big day. Mom and our bride were very much in sync for the vision and overall feel of the big day (which definitely makes our job easier). We had another soggy weekend and had to change to Plan B. The good news is, when you’re at Great Harbor Yacht Club, it’s easy to pivot and honestly, guests may never know. This was the easiest change we had all season.
The ceremony ended up being in the dinner tent, and dinner was moved inside. Guests cheered on the couple as they said their I Do’s. The reception room looked dreamy with all the lighting and décor strung throughout the ceiling. Tables were layered with various sized centerpieces and budvases for a full, lush look. We even tucked in some apricots, plums, and currants to the bigger centerpieces for a little bit of fun. Colorful candlelight finished off the details on the table, and great music had the guests dancing the night away. Cheers to many more years of celebrations for this happy couple.
